VerseDay: Let’s Celebrate Poetry!

It’s Thursday, which means it’s VerseDay. Every Thursday in 2013, several bloggers are joining forces to post about poetry. I won’t be personally write a post every VerseDay in 2013, but I’ll be joining in some. And I’m looking forward to promoting what others are writing about in the poetry world.

Mostly, only my critique friends know that I write poetry. I love to write poetic picture books, stand alone poetry, and I have completed a YA novel in verse. Poetry is something very close to my heart, so I’m looking forward to connecting with others who love poetry also.
