Poetry Friday August 19, 2022 Haiku Moment Videos
This week’s Poetry Friday roundup is at Leap of Dave.
Haiku Moment Videos
A few weeks ago, I introduced my Poetry Printables page. My hope is that teachers will be able to use the printables with their classes.
But poetry is meant to be read aloud, so I have been working on making videos and sound recordings of my weekly haiku for teachers to use for poetry breaks.
Here’s a video from this week’s haiku:

My daylilies are gone, but I love your “wrinkles shine” for them, Marcie, & all that you are sharing for teachers. Hope you’ve had a good start!

My daylilies are gone too. I took this picture in July. I’m just slow and getting my haiku out there. 🙂

Love all of this, Marcie! Sometimes I feel like a faded daylily, letting my wrinkles shine. You have a perfect voice for reading out loud. What a treat for teachers to have and share.

Thank you for always being so encouraging, Rose!

Marcie, great job keeping up with the Sealy Challenge. I’m still reading (a little more) poetry (than usual) every week, thanks to your challenge. Your photos with haikus are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing them. I love the daylily’s shining wrinkles!

Marcie, this post is such a delight. Thank you for offering such a variety of poetry goodness related to nature. Your playlist is filled with a variety of haiku moments. I am always fascinated by your photos and I would love to receive a poetry postcard and share it with the teachers I will work with via Zoom this year.
