What I’m Reading
by Julia Cameron
This is told in Julia Cameron style and encourages morning pages, artist dates, walking, and a few more daily habits for the writer. I’ve just started this one this week. If you are a fan of Julia Cameron, you’ll probably appreciate the reminders in this book.
What I’m Noticing
I repurposed an oil bottle for these stems growing through the rungs on my deck. Please pardon the reflection the terrible lighting. There’s got to be an art to photographing stuff in a windowsill. This week I also went thrifting for some cheap glasses for windowsill art.

Thanks, Marcie. You always find such interesting things to photograph. Love the personifacation of the oak leaf.

Thank you, Rose!

Marcie, I like the haiku! And I read it first, for some reason, as if “remember” were a noun that was falling. It works that way, too.

oh interesting!

Once in a while another leaf comes floating down, so I love the haiku you’ve written about this one captured in ice, Marcie.

Thank you, Linda!

I love that you’ve given the oak leaf more agency than the ice!

Thanks, Mary Lee!

That is a stunning photo of the leaf in ice. (And I haven’t figured out photography tricks for windowsills either).

Thank you, Kay!

For today, he is. 🙂
