What I’m Reading

edited by Melissa Stewart
NCTE, 2020

I’m rereading this book for a book study I’m leading for other nonfiction writers in Inked Voices. While this book is written for teachers, there is much to learn from the writers’ essays.

One of my favorite quotes from the book comes from Sarah Albee: “Writing epiphanies are not random.”

What I’m Noticing

Dandelions

I got a new macro lens and I’m learning to use it. Full disclosure: I’m currently terrible at it. But I loved this picture I took of a dandelion’s insides in my yard.
