Grow
I’ll be honest, with a nasty stomach bug that hit me and a 4-day trip (more on that next week), I’ve completed very little writing. So my grow this week is to “let it go.” If you know me, this is hard. I am a type A personality who is always pushing myself. I planned for a lighter week of writing, but not as light as it has been. I’m excellent about keeping a routine and progressing on projects, so trying to chill about week of hiccups and just letting it goooooo, is growth!

Ooh Marcie! Hope you feel better soon. Even in an off week you manage to share something wonderful – like those furs dancing in the wind. Take care.

That fluffy flower reminded me of a wedding dress at first glance. Stunning photo! I am so sorry that you weren’t feeling well, and I am glad that you are working on taking it easy on yourself. : )

Aww…hope you are feeeling better; travel is miserable when you don’t feel good.
(and I love the flower’s fur)

Luckily, I was about 80% on the first day of the trip and 100% on the subsequent days, so I was really glad!

Marcie, it is difficult to sit still when you want to do. I hope you are feeling better now. Your haiku is breathtaking. I can imagine you walking around trying to find the best photo of. That you did! The feather-like photo is a beauty and your word choice is special. I can imagine the beauty of this plant decked out in winter fur. Thank you so much for showcasing Irene’s book. The video of her reading it is soothing as she shares a wonderful audio read aloud.

The good news is that I take pictures and bank them, so I just had to choose one already done from my journal. 🙂

Self-care, Marcie. It’s a thing! I’m glad you’re taking it easy, and thank you for the beautiful poem and photo. I love Irene’s Wild Peace, too!

I often need to be reminded of that. 🙂

oooof. Sorry about the tummy bug. I do love “showing off winter coats” and the poetry connections. Feel better soon. All the catch up work feels like so much when it’s winter. Blech! Wishing you good pacing.

Missing school is always hard. But I’m feeling much better!

I hope by now you are healed and back to your true self. We do grow from our experiences, but sometimes I wish we could just stay who were are for a while before meeting adversity. I love this week’s haiku in furs. So clever!

Thank you so much, Margaret!
