I’m feeling like I’m doing triage this week with my writing life. What is the MOST urgent? I had two writing deadlines (one really big and one medium) and a workshop deadline all at the same time. Eeep! So, I cut out my normal routine and am going full throttle on these three things and nothing else until they are finished! I’m realizing it’s okay to let some other things slip while I make room for the very important deadlines. It’s only temporary and it will be complete soon (Monday).

If anyone can not just handle but THRIVE full throttle for a few days, it’ s you Marcie! Rooting for you! And so happy today to turn your beautiful calendar to March. xo

Thank you so much, Irene! So thankful full throttle is temporary. 🙂

I absolutely love hellebores and the color of the one in your photo is gorgeous. Thanks for the reminder – I’ll be checking on mine today. Good luck with all your deadlines!

Believe it or not, my book club had a whole thread on hellebores this week.

I must congratulate you on being so busy, Marcie. That all sounds wonderful. And it’s also nice to read about your ‘still winter’ hellebores offering some color. Thanks for sharing about ‘Thank A Farmer’. I still haven’t read it but am sure it’s on my list! Best wishes for your projects!

Thank you, Linda. Happy to report I’m making lots of progress and will finish on time!

Wheeee! Full throttle. Wishing you lots of energy and also time to rest and recharge. There’s a lot going on everywhere all at once these days.

So very true! I’ve had stuff going on every evening for a couple of weeks–too much! The countdown to spring break is on!

I hear you on “cut the normal routine and go full throttle” on the things that MUST get done. That’s what had me workingworkingworking on the sample for a new embroidery class I’m teaching in April! Whew! Now I can get back to some other projects and even take care of making that bag of lemons on the counter into simple syrup!
Marcie Flinchum Atkins
So cool that you are teaching an embroidery class! And yes to simple syrup! Excited to say I’ve turned everything in! Whew!

Marcie, I hope you are almost over the busyness of the looming deadlines. I like the rich red blossom making the “bland winter garden” so beautiful.

Thank you so much! I’m officially done! 🙂

I love the color pop of the hellebores and haiku, Marcie. Sending you, ‘get it done, but still have fun’ vibes as you “full throttle” over the finish line! 🙂

Full throttle done. Time to slow the pace.

Love your Helleborus pic and haiku, I’ve been taking pics of mine too, they’re positive signs for me! I’m in your same situation quite often– hope what needed attention saw the light, thanks Marcie!

Thankfully, it’s only temporary! I’m finished and slowing down. 🙂

Marcie, this is such a wonder-filled haiku. I admire the color and clarity of the flower that brings a pop of spring to the garden.

Thank you, Carol!
